| Asudem is Medusa in reverse. In this world the true horror is not the hair made of snakes, but rather the human head that has driven the snakes into frenzy and madness.
The story begins with a lonely woman living in the woods of a country racked by a war we never see. Her only companion is her loyal dog. But in a situation as desperate as hers, loyalty is not an easy thing, and the dog soon turns on her. She is visited by a man in a mask. The situation only worsens and escalates from there more, until the Vampire appears to save her life. A familiar story plays out, until SATAN himself finally shows up to get it all over with. However, by now the helpless woman is an intelligent, grown-up warrior herself. She thinks that perhaps she can convince SATAN to eat some hallucinogenic mushrooms in the hope of causing him HEAVENLY visions that will themselves cause his madness and death. Satan eats the mushrooms and the Heavenly Visions occur, but does this mean that she is finally safe on her way back to her shelter in the deep woods?!
